If you’re using any Apple products, you’ve probably heard of Steve Jobs (Co-founder of Apple Inc.). Well, yes you guessed right. In Destiny 2, you can read every weapon’s Lore individually and it’s really an amazing feature for all those Lore-lovers.

Well, If you take a look at that new Hard Light (Auto Rifle) lore, you’ll find some interesting wording Bungie used. Back in 2007, Steve Jobs first introduced the first Gen-iPhone as an revolutionary mobile phone. Well, check it out yourself. Here’s the comparison between Steve Jobs’ keynote from his presentation and Hard Light’s lore:

Steve Jobs’ Keynote Hard Light Lore
“Today, we’re introducing three revolutionary products of this class. The first one is a Widescreen iPod with touch controls. The Second, is a revolutionary mobile phone. And the Third, is a breakthrough Internet communication device.” Later, he goes “These are not three separate devices. This is one device and we are calling it iPhone.” “Today, we’re introducing three revolutionary products. The first is a quick-config interface for outgoing damage. The Second is a ricochet projectile that bounces off any surface. And the third an infinite range zero drop-off projection weapon platform. We will be releasing them all at once. In a single device. In extremely limited quantities. We call it Hard Light.”

So, there we have it. It looks like Bungie is a huge fan of Steve Jobs. We definitely loved how Bungie described the lore of Hard Light. What do you think about this? Let us know in comments below!

Who knows, maybe there are more Easter Eggs like this in Destiny 2’s Lore. Take a look at Steve Jobs’ full presentation below:
