Recently, Bungie announced their partnership with Virgin Media (Broadband Company). Players who own a Virgin Media account can get an exclusive reward in Destiny 2 that is a brand new sparrow called Athena Victorious. To get this item on launch day of Destiny 2, you must be a Virgin Media customer.
PS4 and Xbox One player can redeem their codes between September 6,2017 and December 31,2017. This code can be used either on PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC (October 24,2017). Here’s some more details about how to get your code:
UK Virgin Media home internet customers only. One Sparrow code per customer, redeemable by the main account holder only. You must claim your code and unlock the Sparrow in-game between 6 September and 31 December 2017. Claim your code by entering your account details on virginmedia.com/redeemsparrow from 6 September. Code can be used on either the PS4, Xbox One or PC edition (PC edition launches 24 October). No cash or other alternative. Non transferable.
In a recent post, Virgin Media revealed that players who are not a customer can also get this exclusive sparrow. Obviously, it will take a period of time. It says that, on January 1st, 2018, players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC can attain this sparrow ‘Athena Victorious’ through gameplay. This means that there will be an in-game quest to acquire this sparrow. Here’s what they said:
Athena Victorious Sparrow requires Destiny 2 game, content available starting 09.06.17 on consoles and 10.24.17 on PC. Athena Victorious Sparrow can be attained by Virgin Media Account holders, it can also be attained through gameplay starting on 1.1.2018
