Recently, Kotaku published an article revealing some more details about Destiny 2’s First Expansion that is Osiris. Jason Schreier is a New Editor at Kotaku and is a reliable source for Leaks and News. In this article, he said that a source sent him some interesting details about Destiny 2’s first expansion Osiris.

Though, we’ve already speculated the release date for the first expansion of Destiny 2. Click here for our speculations about the first expansion pack for Destiny 2. Destiny 2’s first expansion will be called ‘The Curse of Osiris’ and will be released in December. Destiny 2 will be launching September 6 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (October 24 on PC).
This DLC will include a patrol zone on Mercury and players will get a brand new Social Space in Lighthouse where players in Destiny 1 gets rewarded by going Flawless in Trials of Osiris. Jason said:
Yesterday, a source sent over some high-level details on the upcoming DLC, which is called The Curse of Osiris and scheduled to be out in December, three months after Destiny 2 launches on September 6. According to those details—which I’ve corroborated with a second source familiar with plans for Destiny 2—The Curse of Osiris will come with a patrol zone on the planet Mercury and a social space on the Lighthouse.
This expansion will revolve around the story about Vex as Osiris is very keen about the Vex. He also said that we will hear more details about The Curse of Osiris in near future. There is another DLC for Destiny 2 called Rasputin that will be released in 2018.
